Terroir is a french term for the flavor imparted on wine by the climate and environmental conditions its grown in. Terroir is also a factor with all other foods but is not commonly highlighted. I wanted to create a restaurant that show cases the flavor of San Deigo and the way its unique climate and terrain effects it.
Terroir is located in Little Italy San Diego, CA. It is a fine dining restaurant that focuses on highlighting the amazing ingredients and products of california and most specifically southern california. Terroir has a seasonal menu, extensive wine list and many dining options. The hand lettered logo coveys landscape and the color palette is remanicant of the terrain of San Diego.
